Description

The product is prepared from sound, fresh, properly ripened, stemmed, washed and sorted strawberries. Product shall meet or exceed Grade B requirements, following the U.S. Standards for Grades of Frozen Strawberries, dated February 1, 1958, Fifth Issue.

4+1 WHOLE MEXICAN STRAWBERRIES (30 LB CTN)

Description

The product is prepared from whole, fresh, sound, properly matured fruit. The fruit is cleaned, washed, hulled and sweetened to approximately 27 Brix. Product is then blast frozen and maintained at a temperature of zero degrees Fahrenheit, until required for use. The berries are USDA Grade B or better for color, with typical strawberry flavor.

Flavor & Odor

Appearance, odor and taste shall meet material requirements.

Foreign Material (leaves, caps, bracts)  ¼ sq max per 1.4 lbs
Short Stems <1/8”)  max 8 per 1.4 lbs

Product is then blast frozen and maintained at a temperature of zero degrees Fahrenheit, until required for use. The berries are USDA Grade B or better for color, with typical strawberry flavor.
