Description

Products shall be prepared from wholesome, raw material, suitable for use in food products and will be representative of good manufacturing practices and in conformance to all applicable Federal Standards. The product shall contain no added color or artificial flavor.

Appearance   As is, a deep, purple-red color with a smooth consistency.

Flavor & Aroma   Conform to a reference standard. A typical marion Blackberry character. Should be free of foreign odor and taste.

Brix   10.0 +/– 2.0 degrees

pH   2.5–3.80

Packaging   plastic pail containers

Storage   Store in tightly closed containers under frozen conditions (zero degrees Fahrenheit or lower).

Shelf Life   24 month minimum at zero degrees Fahrenheit or below.
